The Kanchenjunga Trek
14 Nights - 13 Days
This trek will take you through some of the most beautiful forests of Sikkim, Local beautiful villages,monasteries. The trek in spring passes through the Rhododendrons flower belt, You will come very close to to Mt. Kanchenjunga and also get an awe inspiring glimpse of the Sikkim mountains.

Day 01 : Delhi - Bagdogra - Gangtok
Arrive Delhi and transfer to Domestic airport for flight to Bagdogra. Transfer by non A/C Car to Gangtok. O/N Hotel

Day 02 : At Gangtok
Spend a day in sightseeing Gangtok city. See the Dodrul Gompa and stroll down the little bazaar, Rumtek Monastery. Overnight Hotel

Day 03 : Gangtok - Yuksom  (1850 mts)
After breakfast drive to Yuksom ( 90 kms).  Famous for its beautiful vistas of mini lakes against the Himalayan backdrop. Overnight Camp

Day 04 : Yuksom - Bakhim (2855 Mts) 12 kms
After breakfast trek starts to Bakhim, On the way you cross the streams, wooden bridges, local villages and temples. O/N Camp

Day 5 : Bakhim - Dzongri  ( 3225 Mts) 8 Kms
The day brings us closer to Kanchenjunga  we get an initial view of the Sikkim snows and further forest of Rhododendron to Deorali Dara. You can witness  on the given day The mighty Kanchenjunga.  Overnight Camp

 Day 6 - Dzongri - Thangsing (3225 Mts) 7 kms
The days highlights will be the green meadows and the beautiful valleys situated at the base of Jopine Peak. Overnight Camp

Day 7 : At leisure at Thangsing

Day 8 : Thangsing - Chaurithang (4561 Mts) 10 km
The day is quite tough as the trekking time today will be around 7 hours time to the base of Himalayan Mountaineering Institute. Overnight Camp

Day 9: Chaurithang - Zamlingang (4000 Mts)  10 km
This trek passes through some of the most beautiful forested areas of Sikkim. Overnight Camp at Zamlingang.

Day 10 : Zamlingang - Bakhim (2855 Mts)
Most exciting day where the special feature of the day will be high mountains, bed of Flowers in springs, many species of Rhododendrons many species of birds and butteflies. Overnight Camp

Day 11: Bakhim - Yuksom (1850 mts)
After breakfast  a simple walk takes you to Yuksum. Overnight  Camp

Day 12 : Yuksom – Darjeeling
After breakfast drive to Darjeeling. Overnight Hotel

Day 13 : Darjeeling
Day at leisure

Day 14 : Darjeeling - Bagdogra - Delhi.
Morning transfer to Bagdogra for flight to Delhi. Airport transfer to International Airport for onward flight.
