Gangotri - Gaumukh - Tapoban Trekking
This trek takes you the origination of the holy river Ganga at the sacred shrine of Gangotri, and rushes down to the plains in a torrential fury.This is not a very famous trekking route among the treekers rather special interest trek.This trek lead to one of the most important spots of Hindu spirituality, where you will experience       a strange atmosphere of religious fervour. Gaumukh is where the waters of Ganga trickle down from the glaciers.. From Gaumukh to Tapovan the ascent is steep, and as we climb, the view of the surrounding peaks becomes clearer. They appear to be just a stone's throw away. Nandanvan situated at the base of the Bhagirathi group of peaks, can be reached after crossing the Gangotri Glacier. It is an alpine meadow in the shadow of the Bhagirathi peaks.

Outline itinerary:
Day 01 : Arrive Delhi :  On arrival met at the airport and transfer to the hotel. O/N stay at Hotel.
Day 02: Delhi-Hardwar :Evening free to explore the Ghats and temples in Hardwar .Overnight in Hotel.
Day 03: Hardwar-Gangotri- Drive 270 kms.overnight in Hotel.
Day 04: Nandanvan - Tapovan((4460 m) ): On day 4 of Gangotri Nandanvan Trek,return trek to Bhojwasa for overnight stay in               Hotel.
Day 05: Tapovan : 10 kms trek to Tapovan.overnight in camp.
Day 06: Nandanvan Trek - Nandanvan 8 kms through Gangotri Glacier,overnight in camp.
Day 07: Bhojwasa  12-km trek to Bhojwasa.overnight in camp.
Day 08: Gangotri Trek - Gangotri 14 kms.overnight in Hoyel.
Day 09: Gangotri- Hardwar: 270 kms drive to Rishikesh.Arrival Hardwar and transfer to the station time to catch train for delhi.               On arrival transfer to the hotel.
Day10 : Delhi-Departure :  Morning sightseeing tour of delhi.transfer to the airport time to catch flight for onward destination.
