Dharamshala – The Little Lhasa 2 Nights/3 Days

Day 01: Pathankot to Dharamshala
Reception upon arrival at the Railway Station and drive to Dharamsala (110 kms/3 hours) enroute visiting Chamunda Devi Temple and Kanga Temple.

Day 02: Dharamshala

After breakfast sightseeing and excursion to Dharamshala and places nearby. O/N Hotel

Dharamsala is a hill-station lying on the spur of the Dhauladhar Mountains about 18 kms north-east of Kangra, in the State of Himachal Pradesh and overlooks a wide spread of plains. It is known for its scenic beauty set amidst high pine and oak trees. Dharamsala’s altitude varies between 4400 ft. and 6560 ft. Since 1960, when it became the temporary headquarters of His Holiness The Dalai Lama, Dharamshala has risen to international repute as “The Little Lhasa in India”.  Covering a wide area in the form of a twin settlement, Lower Dharamsala (1380 m) is a busy commercial center, while Upper Dharamsala (1830 m) with the suburbs of Mcleod Ganj and Forsythganj retain a British flavor and colonial lifestyle.  There is also a large Tibetan community in exile, who has made this their home, living mostly in Mcleod Ganj.

Day 03: Dharamshala to Pathankot
First half of the day at Leisure and in time transfer to railway station/Airport for onward destination.
